EVERY HOUR WE NEED HIM

THE NEED FACTOR

When one is sick, there may be a need to seek out the medical attention of a doctor; when your automobile is not operating as it should there is a need for a mechanic; when one is hungry there is a need for one to get something to eat, for if one goes without food long enough there is a greater possibilty than not, that one could die, so in all three senarios the thing that is common to all, is something essential is needed in all, whether a doctor, a mechanic or food, there is a need.

The first point, what is need? The next is why is it important? we see that need is a verb, and a verb is a word that expresses an action or a state of being. The current status is, there is a need which must be met with the appropriate action. Need alerts you or I that there is something we must do or have, eg air to breathe, why because it is essential, critically important or possibly life the need to preserve life. Point Two says need expresses necessity or must have! Point Three for need signifies there is a circumstances wherein a specific or action is required. An example to further illustrate need is when one is in a state of poverty, when there is distress, or there is misfortune. There is a statement someone once said, when the devil drives you have to do something you would rather not.

Let go to scripture to validate that there is a NEED in all of our lives, wherther we choose to accept the facts or not!

John 15:1-8(New Living Tranlation)
1"I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener.
2He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.
3You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
4Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.
5"Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
6Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.
7But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!
8When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.

There in John 15, Jesus is letting all know that out side of Him we can do absolutely nothing, and if we are not productive, we will be cut off from Him and gathered into a pile and burned; however my focus here in John is on the 5th verse, where Jesus says that we are branches, and if we remain in Him we will produce fruit, but if we are not with Him and He is not with us WE CAN DO NOTHING! In order for the body (natural) to survive, the heart must continously pump oxygenated blood with all of the other nutrients throughout the body, for if the body is separated from the heart, the body dies. Therefore, we must see, the heart is a critical component needed to sustain life for no heart no life! without a heart, no bodily productivity can take place. For all whose hearts have stopped can no longer produce anything.

Now on the spritual side Jesus must be the need for us, just as vehicle needs fuel, we need Jesus, you can have the most inovative vehicle ever designed, and without fuel it is useless, and with a diminished value without fuel and can not be of any use, and us without Jesus, our value becomes as such that we are of no use and we are gathered into a pile and burned.

In order for the natural man to see, he needs sight, in order to hear he needs an ear, in order to smell, we need a nose, to speak, we need a voice you get my drift. See as a natural man we need the five sences, but the spiritual man if void of any of their sences will still be able within Christ to move forward because of their faith. Jesus speaks to the heart of man, and we know His voice. Faith allows us to walk without sight, and the man who is not separated from Christ, is a sweet savor in the nostrils of God, through their praise, glory, and honor, so man does not have to be able to smell, for God will be pleased by the sincere  essense of their heart toward Him. Even without a voice, Jesus hears us, so you can begin to see even without any of our five sences, but being attached to the vine (Jesus) we are not headed for the burn pile.

When the following verses are read they highlight something very critical, God can not be contained in anything that we can make, He does not live in our cars, our homes, or even on our jobs, you may say I’m crazy, but God does live in my home! Okay let us define home just for edification, your home where God abides is not made with brick and mortar, hay wood or stubble but He makes His abode in the repentent heart / living soul which He has created, that keeps us alive in Him, it just so happens that we live in houses made by man, and if God is in the heart, and you are in your eartly house, you can say He is in your home because of His abiding in your heart.

We truly need Christ, because the scripture states "for it is in Him,we live, we move, and have our being", we need Jesus to live, without Jesus we are DEAD! We need Him to move, He is the one who gives us the use and activities of our limbs, the functioning of our mind, the vision in our sight, the hearing in our ears, the speech in our voice, the buds in our taste, and the feeling in our touch. We Need the LORD!

Who are we without Christ? An awesome question, we are nothing, useless, on our way to the burn pile, Humanbeings  were created to give the need factor (JESUS) in our life praise, glory, and honor. We need Him to give sight to the blind, the ones who do not know Him, we need Him to give us water from the living well, we need Him so we can walk by faith, and not by sight, we need Him so we can quinch the firey darts of the wicked, we need Him so we can get to the Father, we need Him because we are hungry, and He will feed us the Bread of Life.

I need Thee oh how I need Thee, every hour I need Thee, bless me now my Savior, I come to Thee

I can go further but knowing you and God, you will be moved to go further on your own, bless you man or woman of God, I appreciate you keeping me in the cross hairs of your prayers, and please do not stop! You are continously in our prayers and I encourage you to run the race set before you, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not.

Acts 17:24-31(ESV)
24The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man,
25nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. 26And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place,
27that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
28for "‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, "‘For we are indeed his offspring.’
29Being then God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and imagination of man.
30The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent,
31because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed; and of this he has given assurance to all by raising him from the dead."

You are so right we need Jesus in everything that we do and if he is not abiding in us we are useless.
