'THE REALITY OF BEING IN GOD'S WILL CAN TRULY HURT'

'THE REALITY OF BEING IN GOD'S WILL CAN TRULY HURT'

'CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF'S'

I have not found to date anywhere in the Bible where it states the people of God will never suffer as a result of being in an intimate relationship with Him, the Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ! It is however stated that He does not want anyone to perish and not to perish is to repent of all sin. You can verify that in 2 Peter 3:9 (MSG)" 9 God isn't late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn't want anyone lost. He's giving everyone space and time to change."  The Savior is giving us time to be saved from the penalty of sin, but He does not exclude us from suffering; even though one is in His will. Ironically too many Christians new and old feel that once they have given their life over to Christ, they should not ever have to suffer hardship or adversity ever again! Now being outside of the will of God, can in fact foster needless hurt, pain, and suffering because of disobedience, and God allows suffering to move us back to the righteous path we departed from. When you look from the perspective of the Hebrews of the Old Testament, they asserted punishment (suffering) should come as a result of sin against God's divine and moral order. For your thoughts read Psalms 7:15-16.  God's people often view their own or another's suffering, as a result of some sin in their life or maybe their family linage and consider it to be God's judgement. Reference 1st Kings 21:20,22, & 29; John 9:2 or 2nd Kings 21:10,11..    Going through pain and suffering while in the will of God, can be utterly confusing if you do not fully understand what the Word of God says; i.e. Matthew 5:11 (NASB) 11 "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. " Note, one who is in the will of God, and who does nothing wrong, yet they suffer; but the suffering is not a result of their actions, but is a result of their association and relationship with Christ. Paul and Barnabas encouraged the disciples in Acts 14:22 to stay in the faith, for through many hardships and tribulation we do enter the Kingdom of God.
Because we accept Christ in our lives does not mean that we are exempt from suffering and operating in God's Will does not exempt us either from suffering; but as many quote Romans 8:28, too many miss the reality of what it reads "all things;" so if we understand 'all things' then no matter what, if its good, bad, or indifferent it is inclusive of 'all things'.   So Suffering is included in all things, but remember its all working for your good.  People will often add their two cents and state their misguided points which are like sheets of sand paper, not smoothing, but scratching and irritating.  You who are in the Will of God should find 2nd Timothy 2:12 a) clause "2 Timothy 2:12 (MSG) "12 If we stick it out with him, we'll rule with him;" encouraging yes, so who's report will you believe?
I would like to leave you with this question, when Jesus suffered death by crucifixion on a cross, was He outside the will of God?  The answer is and emphatic and resounding NO! But we look at Isaiah 53:10 (NLT) 10 But it was the LORD’s (God the Father) good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the LORD’s good plan will prosper in his hands.
Suffering while walking with God, does not always mean that something is wrong with you; but incase there is something wrong (or sinful) in your life, refer to 1st John 1:9, and if you have done nothing wrong to violate God's tenets or His moral compass for your life look at the scene as an attack on your stance for Christ or the forging of a better you in Christ.  For the suffering is not about you, but the Christ in you, for when you are abiding in His will the enemy is made uncomfortable by the God in you and wages war against you for being in tandem (harnessed together)with God.   Therefore count it all joy, reference James 1:2-3 and be blessed and comforted.
