'God's Wants To Bundle It For You'

‘GOD WANTS TO BUNDLE IT FOR YOU’

          Every once in a while we have occasion to dine out, and when the menu is presented we see entree’s that are grouped with specific sides already predetermined; i.e. stake and baked potato, with a salad. However, we were to prefer the stake without the baked potato, waiter/waitress directs your attention to the Ala Carte portion of the menu, where you can pick and choose your preferred side dishes that are contained within the menu. Most of your high-end restaurants menus are ala carte from the start, wherein one avoids bundling, allowing you to select and choose what you will be your meal, however, you are still choosing from an established menu, it’s just you are afforded more options. How often would you hear a customer verbalize this question to the waiter: ‘what does it come with’? We as people for the most part want to know: ‘what does it come with’ and not just in the dinning arena.

          When a person is prescribed a particular medication it is bundled far too often, with what can be some very serious side effects. The sad irony with medications that have serious side effects, is one can not get the medication ala carte, in essence the intended affect of the medication can not be separated from the effects of the medication.

          Then there are times when bundling appears to be advantageous, i.e. most of all of our cable companies to date have bundled telephone, television, and internet together, you can get each one separate, but the advantage to having all bundled together is the cost factor is less, and supposedly you save money by bundling. With most bundling there are going to be some pro’s and some con’s!

          However, when you view the human factor there is a certain reality, what am I saying, people for the most part want to pick and choose what benefits them, and what benefits them at the time! However, benefits are often confused with desire, for what one desires does not necessarily mean it’s a benefit! To illustrate my point a person who is married desires to become intimate with someone other than their spouse, right there, is a wanting or lust if you will of something that fulfills a desire, but does not bring a benefit to the marriage. Marriage comes bundled and it packaging comes with vows of fidelity and faithfulness until death separates, but during moments of weakness we want marriage al carte, in essence we don’t want what on marriage vow menu, but we choose to select from one of the side dishes. Allow one more analogy if you will, someone goes to the doctor because he or she is sick, and the doctor prescribes a treatment protocol that includes bundling medication and bed rest for a week, so the patient takes the medication, but choose’s to ignore the bed rest. The medication and bed rest were bundled as a treatment plan, which needed to work in tandem (together) for full effect, however the patient chose not to have the entire bundle and subsequently relapsed rendering the intended affect of the treatment protocol null and void. Now the state of the patient is worse due to a more deteriorated and vulnerable condition by not adhering to the entire treatment protocol!

          As mentioned there are several who present bundle’s at a savings, a saving of money, but God has a bundle which offers an eternal savings of your soul! If there was ever a bundle to have it would be the bundle that God offers! Yes God has a bundle to offer, and it can not be ala carte! Too many people think that God is presenting to us an ala carte menu, wherein we want to choose this, but not that, and nothing could be further from the truth! To help understand what is being conveyed, is this: some want the healing deliverance of God, but want nothing to do with service to God. We want to both serve God and mammon, and it can not be done! Ref. Matthew 6:24 God comes as a package deal if you will, you have the Father, you have the Son, and you have the Holy Spirit, They can not be separated!

          Reading 1^st Corinthians 12 one would see bundled together in harmony is the Father who works the works in all who have accepted the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel), as a package deal, along with the Holy Spirit who serves us with what we need, be it instruction, correction, conviction as it relates to sin, righteousness and judgement, He also will guide you into all truth . Digressing just a tad, too many times we will order something that is not good for us, and we wind up with indigestion, or maybe with acid reflux, and too many who are purportedly God’s children have wanted something God did not have on the menu, and thus a spiritual maladies and where in some cases have led to a spiritual death, the cost of not accepting the bundle of God, can cost one dearly for an eternity! In the God bundle there is one, who by His very name men must and can be saved, for if you read Acts 4:12 you will find the only way one can receive salvation under heaven is in Jesus. There have been times when I have gone to shop in Sam’s Club®, COSTCOS®, or BJ’s® to purchase certain items and found the items to be bundled in at least multiples of two or more and I could not purchase them individually, so I found myself from time to time giving a portion of what was purchased to someone else who was in need. When you look at God, you will find there was a purchase made in bulk with shed blood, and that bulk purchase was your soul and mine; the purchase was not at Sam’s Club®, COSTCOS®, or BJ’s®, but at the Cross of Calvary. When the purchase was made God bought all that was bundled within us be it lying, stealing, murder, adultery, etc., etc.. But just as someone would purchase a broken down vehicle where one would ask, can life be restored to it? Which is indicative of a query in scripture found in Ezekiel 37:2-6 (NLT) ² He led me all around among the bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered everywhere across the ground and were completely dried out. ³ Then he asked me, "Son of man, can these bones become living people again?" "O Sovereign LORD," I replied, "you alone know the answer to that." ⁴ Then he said to me, "Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD! ⁵ This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Look! I am going to put breath into you and make you live again! ⁶ I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’"

          You see God wants to offer you the whole bundle, even though you may be broken down and dried out, and lifeless, God in His bundle offers new life, for whatever you need to be restored to your place in Him, is in the bundle of God, administered by the Holy Spirit, and sanctioned by Jesus Himself. If you need to be set free from the burden of sin, healed in your body, renewed in your mind, loving instead of hating, enjoying peace as opposed to being perplexed, having all of your needs met, well to all who read know this God has got a bundle for you, no one can match!
